While planning their trips to China, my students would constantly ask me things like “How do I buy a high-speed train ticket?” or “How do I even link a card to Alipay?” At the same time, when my boyfriend and I were traveling around China together, we found ourselves stuck trying to figure out how a foreigner could unlock a shared bike — you need ID verification, and it's not always foreigner-friendly.
That’s when it hit me: people don’t avoid traveling to China because they don’t want to — it’s because it’s just too hard to figure things out.
So I thought, why not create a website that puts everything in one place? A helpful, local guide to traveling in China. Not a stiff official site. Not an endless influencer blog. Just something made to save you time, reduce confusion, and help you travel with confidence.
